mud vehicles...a hippo and a bakkie...

For those of you who are thinking, "why are those pictures so small?", the answer is because I am still in Blogger 101. If you know how to make big pictures...congratulations! Pat yourself on the back and buy yourself a round on me!! If these pictures are too small for you see, google up magnifyingglass.com For those of you who think these pictures are just the right size, quit sucking up...I KNOW they're too small!!!

How close did you get to the rhino?

Obviously not close enough....it's a hippo....

I'd never survive in Africa. I'd be the one saying, "Oh, look at the cute hippo. Here hippo hippo hippo. Here hippo..."

They actually tell you when you're going into the park NOT to say "here kitty kitty" to the lions. Yea....you'd be dinner for sure.

Love the hippo shot. I won't say your photos are too small. I have my magnifying glass out and that enables me to almost see them. Have gone on your blog a few times, but was not able to leave comments 'cuz I kept putting in the wrong password. Thanks to Jana's help you can now read my comments. I'm no help at all to help you enlarge photos. LOVE YOU!

Have you seen any more animals up close and personal? Have you seen any critters that you've never seen before? (I'm really interested in the critters, although I'm more interested in you guys.)

Snowy greetings from Carol Bondy,
Wow - Wow - and more Wow.
Laura found your Blog from warm Africa this afternoon.
It's snowing and not so sunny in Elmhurst, Il. We had nine inches of snow last night and it turned the area into a winter Wonderland.
I wanted to locate where in Africa you and the boys are. Thankfully with the technology of the internet I found your Blog.
Tim will be leaving for Kenya on Feb 28th. and I had hoped he would be able to see you and see the work the Taylor family is doing.
Tim will be in Africa for approx.
8 weeks. Nairobi, Kenya and Tannzania.
Many Blessings - Love, Carol

Hi Carol- Is Tim still going to go to Kenya given all of the unrest? Who is he going with? SOOOOO good to hear from you. You know Jana b is Jana Dorn right?
She is a regular on my blog. I love that girl! Love you too!

Yep - The US Government at work. But you probably do not know that for the past 2 years
Tim has worked as an Aslym Officer for Homeland Security. He is traveling with a team of 4 people. They will be traveling out to refugee camps to interview refugees and determine which individuals are eligible for asylum in the US. The US has committed to accepting 30,000 African refugees and Tim is part of that team.
I figured that Jana B. is Jana Dorn - "Hi Jana"

Hi Carol! ("regular" is Laura's nice way of saying, "stalker", but I'm not harmful, unless Chris E. messes with me...)

Wow, that is great what Tim is doing. I'll be praying for him and his group. (And for your and your crew.)

Is Sherline there? If so, HI SHERLINE!

Did you have a wonderful Easter? How did you all celebrate? We went to a joyful service and then ate the head of a goat.

(Lord forgive me. I am lying about eating the head of a goat.)
