Friendship comes in all shapes, sizes and ages...

A week ago we had a bunch of kids jump into the back of the bakkie after church and join us at the house for lunch and some crafting. (Shash and Linda- do those wands look familiar? Thanks for the supplies!) I love these girls and they love to be loved!

Okay, Ronni- I tried and can't find your email address anywhere. mine is ltaylor1960@gmail.com.
I want to hear from you! How did you find my blog?

I agree with Ronni, La. You look like a young 'un (and BEAUTIFUL!)

This reminds me of when you used to invite a bunch of women from ECRC to your house to do crafts. It was so much fun. It would take most of us an hour to do our projects, but that little Italian woman (I am so sorry that I forgot her name!) used to have hers finished in about 10 minutes. Funny.

Why wasn't I invited??

The wands are pretty...but the smiles are beautiful!

Jana- Her name is Melody...remember when she 'rolled' her Christmas Rocking horse in the wrapping paper we were supposed to rip into tiny pieces and methodically and gingerly, with great love, place each piece in just the right spot. Hahahaha..Good times...

Hey Paulette...had I known you, you would have been there! My house has always been an open venue for anybody and everybody and then some!

But , Jana, my fav were the 'mystery dinners'. :)

Oh man yes! What a blast!!! I can't remember who ended up with a plate full of beans, a toothpick, and a napkin for his first course. I think it was Don Slager, though, who slipped him an illegal spoon so he could down the beans and get on with the next course. Those Dutch are real mischief makers.

Melody!!!! Yes! I'm laughing thinking about Melody mentally setting her goal for the evening, "Get her done, and get her done fast."

(Too bad you weren't around when we were doing the crafts, Paulette. We would have loved to have you with us!)

I remember that mystery dinner. wasn't there a big plate of food that you guys were passing around around the table ..'downloading' if you will? hahaha...good times.

Hahaha! Yea. Whoever got the plate of beans (and it was a big one) wasn't a big fan of beans. A bunch of us were trying to quietly help, a spoonful at a time. It was pretty exciting.

Here is a sweet and excellent part of a verse: from Hebrews 13:9

...it is good for the heart to be strengthened by grace,...

I am praying that all Taylor hearts will be strengthened by grace.
