Greeting Laura, I love getting all your updates and seeing all the pictures! You look great and I'm so excited to see the changes as a result of all the work you, the boys and the missions teams continue to do. Miss you as always. Hugs and prayers! valere

Oh Laura, I was suppose to send something from Annie with Bec and I didn't get it to her, so I'll get it to you another way. I'm so excited Bec will be there with you she is wonderful and has such a heart for the work there. You and the Mission there are an inspiration and instant perspective for many here. Love Ya!

Hi La.

I just wanted to say that I'm thinking about you, I love you, and I'm so happy you are doing God's work in South Africa.

I am glad to hear about the young women from Girl's High. Thank the Good Lord for kids that walk the talk! I hope their good example catches on like wild fire.

The picture with all those sweet kiddies looks just like a circle I would love to be in. How precious they are! Missing you and looking forward to seeing you during the holidays.

Hey La,

Did you have a nice birthday? I sure hope so. I've been thinking of you guys so much lately. I keep praying that God would show me how to support you.

My friend, Paulette (she's a doll, by the way) has been changing her spending habits so that she can send some moo-la to you. She's getting her coffee at McDonald's instead of Starbuck's, and doing some things herself rather than paying someone else to do them (clean her car, for one).

Do you need any school supplies for the kids? Is it better to send you money or stuff? Will you put together a wish list and post it on your blog or e-mail me with it?

I'd love to get prayer requests from you and the other MCMers. I can commit to praying for you all regularly, and specifically.

I love you, La.

Oh, Laura. I just spoke with Valerie Sims on the phone because she called up Lamb's (where I work) to switch some tickets and she briefed me a little on the last couple years of your family's journey! Wow. I would love to touch base with you. We will be praying for your work there and would like to be more involved!

Hey Laura,

How are you? Talked with Anne, are you coming here for Thanksgiving? Is Joey with Jay in Mich? Did you get my Email? Sorry keep getting questions -- lots of prayers and love your way! Think of you and your ministry with the young girls and how great you are with anyone you're around. Much love!

Hey there, sister! I was thinking of you, so I thought I'd write.

Just did a devotional today that included Psalm 124. Verse 2 really struck me: "Had it not been the Lord who was on our side..." My mind immediately went to how my life would be so different if it wasn't for Him. Had it not been the Lord who was on my side...I would still be living in darkness. I would be following the wisdom of the world/ the counsel of Satan rather than truth of the King, I would have shut all the difficult people out of my life. I would be living as if I was the center of the universe. If it had not been the Lord who was on my side, there would be no victory or fruit to show for my 52 years of life. Man, I'm glad the Lord is on my side.

How is your trip going? Any prayer requests?

Love,
Jana Banana
